Leh: The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), launched the LG Dashboard in the presence of Advisor to the LG, Departmental Secretaries and Head of Departments (HODs), at the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat on Friday.
The LG Dashboard aims to revolutionise governance in Ladakh by offering comprehensive insights derived from accurate data and real-time information along with empowering the government to make informed decisions and effectively engage with citizens. Secretary, Information Technology, Amit Sharma, IAS, informed that the progress and review of the 13 flagship schemes of Government of India such as Pradhan Matri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Urban and Gramin; Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM)-Urban and Gramin; PM SVANidhi; Jal Jeevan Mission, etc could be assessed by the LG, Departmental Secretaries/HODs and the public from the LG Dashboard.
He also informed the key features of the LG Dashboard, including equipping the Departmental Secretaries with personalised dashboard to monitor the performance of their departmental schemes; multi-dimensional data from central schemes amalgamated into a single enterprise data warehouse to facilitate operational and cross-departmental analysis; real-time monitoring of category-wise KPIs for departments/schemes ensures better insights and expedite decision-making processes; aid key officers of UT Ladakh in delivering citizen-centric services and fostering a culture of continuous improvement due to its robust data visualisation and transparency features.
The LG appreciated IT Department for ensuring a robust dashboard and hoped that the dashboard would be utilised optimally by the concerned Departmental Secretaries/HODs and the public.
